JJ’s passion first stemmed from his experience as a National Youth Wushu Athlete in his younger days.
Following that, he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree of Physiotherapy, receiving a healthcare merit scholarship where he spent 4 years studying at Trinity College of Dublin, Ireland.
He then spent 3 years in Sengkang General Hospital where he specialised in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy
He believes in walking the talk and participates competitively in endurance events such as marathons and Hyrox.
He was ranked top 6 Singaporean in the last Hyrox race in Singapore, August 2024 in the Men's Pro Singles Event.
During his free time, JJ believes in giving back to the community and volunteers with the Special Olympics as a FUNfitness instructor, and is also passionate in giving back to the Sports and Wushu Community.
